Georgia Basso

Georgia Basso is a senior analyst for Five Winds International. She brings combination of science, strategy and communications experience to assist clients in diverse industry sectors with sustainability strategy development and implementation. Georgia also helps to manage Five Winds' Product Sustainability Roundtable (PSRT), assisting with logistics and content development for the PSRT's corporate members. Prior to joining Five Winds, Georgia worked as an endangered species biologist in California and with The Nature Conservancy and ASANA (Asociación de Amigos de la Naturaleza) in Costa Rica and Panama. Her work involved real estate and agricultural industries, and focused on conservation-limited development, conflict resolution and business models to encourage equitable profit for producers of sustainably grown coffee. Georgia holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Science with distinction from the University of Delaware.
