Tom Swarr - Associate

Tom Swarr has more than 30 years of industrial experience covering electronics, energy, automotive and building systems in a broad range of functions, including engineering operations, design analysis, business development and environmental policy. He is also an adjunct professor at the Lally School of Management and Technology at Rensselaer. Tom's theoretical understanding combined with practical work experience gives him a unique perspective that enables him to design effective implementation projects with appropriate organizational development processes to ensure quick results and sustainable competitive advantage for clients.

Tom is the subject editor for societal LCA for the International Journal of LCA. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Material Science and Metallurgical Engineering from Lehigh University, an M.B.A. from Rensselaer and a Ph.D. in Organization and Management from Capella University.
