Deby Stabler

Deby Stabler is a senior analyst at Five Winds International who focuses on environmental management systems (EMS). Deby played a crucial role in preparing the City and County of Denver to achieve ISO 14001 certification and continues to assist with ongoing implementation efforts. Denver is one of the first U.S. cities to operate under a city-wide certified EMS, spanning all municipal operations. Her efforts for the Greenprint Denver EMS included completing ISO 14001 Auditor Training, creating a customized EMS computer-based training, developing documents, and managing projects and clients. Deby has also participated in the development of Five Winds' Management Systems Service Line, a collection of tools to facilitate EMS planning, development, implementation and continual improvement. Project clients include the City and County of Denver, Clipper Marine Services and California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance. Deby holds a Master's in Environmental Policy and Management with a focus on Natural Resource Management from Denver University and a Bachelor's in Psychology and Environmental Studies from Baylor University.
